Sandpoint & North Idaho Outdoors Guides

There is a wealth of things to do all over North Idaho. Winter months gives great opportunities for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, winter horse sledding, bobsledding, ice skating, white water, slalom and downhill skiing, and going to the many festivals that abound, from Mardi Gras to Winter Carnival to the Taste of Sandpoint.

Autumn has the turning of the leaves, many Oktoberfests, Thanksgiving, football, and more festivals, events, and happenings. Some of the best entertainment takes place in the Fall, with the Panida Theatre hosting Lakedance Film Festival, and many other events and concerts that fill the soul.

Spring is full of promise, but for white water rafting and kayaking, there is no better time. Summer is the best, offering great boating and sailing, hiking, biking, mountain climbing, parasailing, and more than could fit on this page. Depending on season, hunting and fishing dot the landscape, and as a sportsman's paradise, few other areas compare.

This page is meant to be a general link resource to find all the things that you and your family can enjoy in North Idaho and Sandpoint. Have fun, be safe, and welcome to the Best Small Town in the West.
